Any way, with the new year comes the creation of various resolutions, of which I have many. One includes actually using this old account, and updating it on a regular basis (seeing as my last journal was written during August of '06, and my last Deviation was submitted September of '08). Obviously stirring up some activity would be good, and it also gives me a greater incentive to regularly archive new work (which means I can update my portfolio on a moment's notice if the need arises).
I'm trying to keep my life better organized, so hopefully that will also mean a) more personal work, and/or b) opening commissions. The latter would be very iffy, seeing as I am horrendously picky when it comes to work for friends/family and clients (meaning it would take longer to do), but we'll see.
Any way, we'll see how long this journal stays up before my next update. Hopefully it won't be another five years, haha!

...And then Buffy staked Edward.
The End.
I stuck with the idea, partially because I had a very limited amount of time to do the pieces, and partially because I thought it would show the admissions board that I liked to challenge myself. When I visited the college the example they showed was very, very simple - but effective in execution. I just felt that it needed more thought - sort of like the Cooper Union challenge.
I'm a college freshman now; while I was accepted at Parsons and a few other colleges, I choose Ringling ( [link] ).
Wow, nice gallery.
